Checkout from an offer
Some tutors share a public offer link so you can start checkout before you have a Bookedly password. Public checkout is for adult learners and manual/offline payment offers.
Start checkout
Section titled “Start checkout”- Open the offer link from your tutor.
- Review the offer title, price, lesson count, schedule, and cancellation terms.
- Choose the checkout or enroll action.
- Enter your learner name and email if Bookedly asks for them.
- Accept the required Terms/privacy and learning-record acknowledgements if they appear.
- Submit checkout.
If you are already signed in as a learner, Bookedly uses your signed-in learner account. If you are signed in as a tutor or another non-learner account, enter the learner email for the student who should receive the offer.
Payment method
Section titled “Payment method”Public offer checkout currently uses cash as the expected payment method. Cash is selected automatically. Do not enter card numbers, bank passwords, bank login details, or private payment credentials in Bookedly notes or support requests.
After checkout
Section titled “After checkout”Bookedly sends the learner email a checkout message with:
- a checkout status link;
- a secure one-time sign-in link for the learner portal.
Anonymous checkout does not sign you in automatically. Use the email link, or use password reset with the same email address, to enter your learner portal.
What happens next
Section titled “What happens next”- Pay-before offers create a pending payment request. Your tutor confirms the cash payment before credits or enrollment become active.
- Pay-later offers may make booking access available immediately. Your tutor can record cash payments later as lessons are settled.
- Group class offers can hold a seat while the tutor confirms payment, as long as the class still has capacity.
Keep your own payment receipt or record. Contact the tutor if the amount, offer, schedule, or payment timing is unclear.
If checkout is unavailable
Section titled “If checkout is unavailable”Checkout may be unavailable if the offer is not active, the tutor has not enabled manual/offline payment, the tutor account is not ready, or a group class is full. Ask your tutor to confirm the offer link and payment instructions.
