Manual and offline payments
Manual/offline payment means payment is arranged outside an automated online card checkout, then tracked in Bookedly.
For students
Section titled “For students”Public offer checkout currently expects cash. Review the tutor’s payment instructions before booking or paying. If the instructions are unclear, ask the tutor before handing over money.
For tutors
Section titled “For tutors”- Enable manual/offline payment if your account requires it.
- Explain cash payment timing clearly on the offer or directly to the learner.
- Record or verify payment only after you have received it.
- Keep the payment note short and factual.
- Do not store card numbers, bank passwords, or private credentials.
Good payment notes
Section titled “Good payment notes”Use notes like “Cash received for June package” or “Cash received after lesson”. Avoid sensitive financial details.
If payment is disputed
Section titled “If payment is disputed”Gather the offer, purchase, booking date, amount, payment date, and a short description of the issue. Contact support if the app record needs review.
